Scotland is one of the most mganificant locations to travel to and offers a tremendous amount to all it’s guests. The landscapes and scenery are dramatic and moving, the culture to be embraced, and the whisky to be sipped and appreciated.
It is a country I have visited more than any other, outside of the US and the UK, for a total of 8 visits. I’ve explored Scotland in a variety of ways – by group tour, with a local friend and guide, and by road trip. Each one offered a unique experience and enjoyment of all that Scotland had to offer.
A good many of my trips included visits to Scottish Whisky Distilleries – 14ย visits to 11 different distilleries. I’ve detailed many of these visits under the “Glacadan” handle within this blog as well.
