I was sent to Tel Aviv twice for work between 2017/2018, and extended both trips to grant me a few extra days to explore the country. It was a unique experience to get to travel to Israel for work and tack on enough days to appreciate a holiday in this warm Mediterranean country. The food in Tel Aviv was incredible, the history in Jerusalem was awe inspiring, and floating in the Dead Sea was surreal.
