Expertise in Locations:
These are the locations where I’ve lived or traveled to the most.
The Blogger, Photographer & Writer
I recently returned back to the USA after spending 10 years living in the UK, between 2012 and 2022. I am a dual citizen to the USA and UK (naturalized during my time there). My family heritage is Greek and this is a part of my background that I highly embrace, and you may see it come through the various articles I write or share.
I’m passionate about single malt whisky, books in the fantasy genre, superhero movies, cooking and writing. Of those the most likely to turn up in my writing will be the whisky, as I do enjoy a lot of travels and local experiences around tastings and learning about the industry.
History of Blog
In 2007 I took a job that would significantly change my life and influence my hobbies. I took a 6 month internship (co-op) in London that changed everything.
Living abroad for a short period of time amplified my appreciation for other cultures, my love of travel, and my fascination with photography.
At the time I launched my first blog – AbroadInLondon.com – and used it as a place where I could share my new experiences with friends and family who were not on Facebook or Google+, but wanted to follow my exploits.
When I moved home at the end of 2007 I migrated my blog to Travel-Addict.net. I transitioned from being a blog designed to bring updates to my family and focused my energy on telling the stories of my travels.
And that has become the heart and soul of my blog in it’s current edition – telling stories of travel, sharing itineraries I’ve enjoyed, and writing guides to some of my favorite places in this amazing world we inhabit.
