I have the pleasure of living just a block away from Hyde Park.
I spent this morning walking through the park and learning more about my surroundings.
Despite having lived in London and having visited it several times before I don’t remember ever spending much time in Hyde Park. I’d spent a good deal of time in Green Park and Regent’s Park but not a lot in Hyde Park. This of course made my wandering quite a bit more interesting this morning.
I took a turn around the Serpentine Pond and in the process I stumbled upon the Peter Pan statue, several Cafรฉs, and many cheeky birds. It’s a lovely area with quite a bit to see along the way!
I topped it off by sitting down and reading on my Kindle for a while as I enjoyed the nice (if overcast) weather.
